Pre UPSR Answering Techniques Workshops

1. ENGLISH WORKSHOP

Paper 1 - I got many benefits and new techniques from this workshop. When we read the questions, the most important things are pencil and ruler. Although it is Paper 1, but we must find the clue words from the questions. When we have underlined the clue words, then we can answer the questions. The speaker gave us many helpful and useful tips on how to make sure our answer is correct. He also said that we have to check back the answer when we have finished the paper.


Paper 2 - The most important thing in Paper 2 is to make sure that our handwriting are neat. This is because the examiners need to know the sentences that we have written in the exam. In section A(Sentence Construction), we must circle the main points in the picture. Then, after we have finished writing five sentences, we must check our grammar, spelling, vocabulary and punctuation. This is because most of the candidates did not get 10 marks because of their spelling. In section B(Information Transfer), we must write based on the table. Then we can get full mark. For reasonm give the reason that is make sense. In section C(Writing), we must have our own ideas to create a better essay.



2. BAHASA MALAYSIA WORKSHOP

Pemahaman - For this paper, we must underline all the clue words. If there is a picture, we read the question frist. Then we must circle the main point of the question. If we don't know the meaning of the answer, cross out the words that are exactly wrong. Then we can circle the answer that we don't know. If there is a passage, underline the point. Then we answer the questions. If we don't know some questions, leave them first. After finish answering all the questions, then we go back to the questions that we have left out.


Penulisan - Penulisan is a quite easy paper to answer if we know the format,tips and techniques. In section A, circle the main point. Then we can write the sentences easily. Make sure that the sentences are complex and compound, not simple sentences. In section C, do not choose Fact(Fakta) essay because it has the highest risk. Therefore, it is safe for us to choose Story(Cerita) essay. In section C, don't write out of topic and don't copy the full sentences in the passage/poem etc. Edit the sentences to make sound interesting. Then we can get full marks. Last year, most of the candidates did not get 5 As because of the section C in this paper. Therefore, I must be careful of facing UPSR this year.



3. SCIENCE WORKSHOP


Science paper is quite hard, but if we know the answering tips, we can even get 100% for this paper. This is because Science is a paper that we can get full marks if we work hard and work smart. The tips are when we read the questions, we must find the clue words. Then we can get the answer easily. As an example, the question ask us about the aim of the investigation, we must know the format of the answer.

Tuition!

Last Sunday, I was at the English tuition. My teacher gave me Paper 1 to complete it. Then, after all of my friends had finished it, my teacher said that it was time to relax! Then I said that I wanted to make a magic video, but I changed my mind. I asked Syahir to record it for me. Then, I sang a Malay song. If you watch the video, there was Syed Abdullah right? He also tuition with me. Do you know why Syahir suddenly stopped the video? It was because Syahir accidentally stopped the video! This Sunday, I will record more funny video at my tuition.

Dinner!

Today, after playing ice skating in Sunway Pyramid, my sister and I went to a stall to have a dinner. I ordered fried rice but my sister ordered fried rice with a bowl of tomyam. I actually wanted to take some pictures when we were at the stall but my handphone was no baterry. So sad, but I can just tell you. After that, I wanted to order milo but I changed my decision. I ordered lychee because I have never drink lychee for a long time. After that, we went home happily.

Munchy's!

The whole of my family members love to eat this Munchy's Muzic. It is very delicious and easy to bring it anywhere and anytime! Actually, my sister bought it first when I am ten years old. Then the whole family wanted to taste the Munchy's Muzic. After that, my mother started to buy it because if my family feet very hungry and wants to eat junk food, we can just eat it! So awesome! This Munchy's Muzic is very easy to keep bacause it has a zip to keep it safe. Nice!

New Look!

New look! I love this new look because it looks so stylish and relax. Anyway, start from 23rd May 2010, I will make a visitor counter which is use to count how many people that had visited my blog. When I visited Puan Tay's blog, I started to make my blog as her blog. See, from now I will update my blog once a day. Then of course I will insert pictures in my posts. These will make my posts and blog be more creative and interesting. Don't forget to visit my blog at least once three days because you will look something new in my blog!

My New Cat!

This is my new cat. Its name is BON! My family love it very much. Sometimes, it always makes my family angry because it love to get into my house. It has white and black spots on its body. Just now, my sister accidentally stepped on its tail. Then my cat screamed loudly. So funny right? Yesterday, my sister and I worried about my cat because it did not returned home. Then my father found my cat at top of my house's roof.

Hagemaru!

Hagemaru Hageda is a young kid, studying in fourth standard living with his parents in Japan. Only child of his parents, he and his parents are a big misers. They do anything for saving money and this is the basic plot of the show. Hagemaru also has a pet dog named Pesu, who often comments about Hagemaru's family being too miser and not giving him anything to eat.

He is best friend of his class-mate Masaru Kondo and in later episodes he has a crush on Midori, a girl from his class. In most of the episodes, Hagemaru goes to school and the story revolves around his teacher (Miss Sakura) and his friends. In the middle part of each episode, the top ten best stories are shown.

Tsurupika Hagemaru, (Japanese: つるピカハゲ丸, "Little Baldy Hagemaru") or simply Hagemaru, is a manga that was published in 1985 to 1995 in Japan. Written by Shinbo Nomura, the manga is about a young kid named Hagemaru and his ideas for saving money.

The manga became a rapid hit all over Japan. Due to its popularity, an anime was produced by animation studio Shin'ei Doga in 1988. It was directed by Hiroshi Sasagawa and was broadcast by TV Asahi. The 58-episode television also became a big hit, and after its popularity a game was also created for Game Boy color. Since then, Tsurupika Hagemaru has been aired all around the world, most recently in India by Pogo TV and in Malaysia by Astro Ceria.

The Tsurupika Hagemaru also received the 1988 Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga.

Story Telling Competition!(4th Place)

On the 4th of May 2010, I went for a story telling competiton. I was presenting for the school. It was a competiton among the winners, but so sad. Many people clapped for me after I presented my story but I get the 4th place for Pudu Zone. I knew that I already gave my best. Therefore, I just can tell them that it was a little bit hard competiton. If my friends say that I'm not good enough, why they not presenting for school but it was me. Then I know that they will not talking about me anymore.

Ice Skating!

Last Sunday, my cousin and her family from Johore came to my house. They were actually went to a wedding ceremony in Kepong. Then, they came to my house. After that, I asked them to go to Sunway Pyramid to play ice skating! She was lucky because her shirt was left at my house when she came on Hari Raya. Therefore, she only had to buy a pair of trousers. When we reached there, I felt very excited because this is my third time. I wanted to show off to my cousin that I can skate, but I was wrong! My cousin is better than me. Wah! When we finished skating, we ate at Pizza Hut! So awesome! Then my cousin and family went back to Johore because her father had a meeting there.

Disney On Ice!

Last two months, I watched the Disney On Ice Show at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil. My family and I went there by the LRT because my sister did not know how to go there. When we reached there, I was surprised because the stadium was crowded of many people including people from other countries. My family and I walked into the stadium and the show already started about 10 minutes ago. Last but not least, there were two people of different characters fell down. I think it was hurt, but I know that they are professional.

Stitch!

As revealed in Lilo & Stitch, Stitch was created by "evil genius" Dr. Jumba Jookiba, who called him "Experiment 626". Both Jumba and Stitch were captured and put on trial by the United Galactic federation.

626 is then sentenced by the Grand Councilwoman to life imprisonment on a desert asteroid and Captain Gantu (who despises him) escorts him. Stitch escapes and crash-lands in Kaua'i, Hawaii. Disguising himself as a dog to hide from his captors, 626 was adopted by a little girl named Lilo, who names him "Stitch".

Stitch is trained by Lilo to be good, using Elvis Presley as a model for his behavior. Lilo's efforts prove to be fruitless at first, as Stitch is unable to suppress his destructive programming. Nevertheless, Lilo enjoys her new "puppy". Although at first he only wanted to use the girl as a human shield from Jumba and Agent Pleakley, whose mission is to capture the fugitive experiment, Stitch slowly develops feelings for Lilo, to the point where he saves her from Gantu. After his heroics, the Grand Councilwoman allows Stitch to serve his exile on Earth with Lilo as his warder, citing her dog adoption certificate (subsequently, Lilo seems to have become not only a best friend but also a sister figure to Stitch).

Shopping!

On that night, my family and I went for shopping at the Pandan Safari Econsave. It is the nearest shopping complex. Therefore, I just went there. My mother had wrote what my mother wanted to buy in a list. In the list, only had 6 items, but when we reached there, we bought more than 10 items. Wah! Then after tired shopping, I asked my mother to buy a burger for me. She agreed! She also bought chicken burger. On the way home, we went to 7-Eleven because my sister wanted to buy topup. Then we went home.

My Bedroom!(FINALLY)

This is my new bedroom. Why I wrote (FINALLY) because actually I don't have a bedroom before. Then I shared with my brother's room. Later, I asked my parents to make a bedroom for me. They agreed! They made another room upstairs for my brother. My sister gone to the third room. When my room was ready, my father bought a car bed for me. Nice! Then, I sleep in my room until today and happy ever after!!

Appreciation & Reflection

I felt very happy when I got this type of folio. I love blogging very much especially when I visited Puan Tay's blog. I love her blog because she put many pictures that can make her blog look creative and interesting. Thanks Puan Ng for giving me this folio. I have been blogging since 2006. I felt very grateful to get a teacher of that kind of Puan Ng. For me, Puan Ng is the best class teacher because she loves blogging too like me. Therefore, I can improve my blog by visiting our class blog. I know that she has many experience of blogging. Other than that, I can improve my English in writing. I also know new words and things.
